Following a deadly school shooting in Nashville on Monday, parents in Central Ohio grappling with the question of whether there should be armed guards in schools. In Delaware County there are already armed law enforcement in schools, provided by the Delaware County Sheriff's Office and Delaware City Police. The resource officers are in the four districts in Delaware County. Among them is Deputy Max Newman who serves in the Olentangy Local School District. 'It's definitely a little bit of keeping kids safe while in school,' he said when describing his job.
